Bookmarks ("the App") is a book club management app. This policy explains what information we collect and how it's used.
When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we collect: your name (as provided by Apple, or as you enter it in the app), your email address (if you choose to share it), and a unique identifier associated with your Apple ID.
When you use the App, we also store book proposals, votes, and reading queue entries you create; meeting details you or other club members enter; and notes you write about club meetings.
This information is used solely to operate the App's core functionality: managing book club membership, displaying who proposed or voted for a book, organizing meetings, and sharing meeting notes among members of the same club.
All data is stored using Apple's CloudKit service, within Apple's infrastructure. We do not operate our own servers, and we do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties or advertisers.
Your name, book proposals, and meeting activity are visible to other members of the same book club. Your data is not visible to members of other clubs, and is never shared outside the App.
You can leave a club at any time, or be removed by a club admin. To request full deletion of your data, contact us at rupa_k1@yahoo.com.
Bookmarks is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
